This year I won a Jeff Award for my work on Mouse in a Jar with Red Tape Theatre! I want to thank James Palmer (artistic director), Daria Davis (director of MIJ), Martyna Majokand (playwright) for creating a world where I can let the weird out, and the entire ensemble and company for their love and support.

As far as store front theaters go Red Tape is amazingly forward thinking and unique. They have become fast friends. Having just worked on their production of Love of the Nighingale I look forward to our upcoming project Obscura by Jennifer Barclay, directed by Julieanne Ehre.

From time to time (though not as often as I might like to) I will post things I’ve been working on. Fun experiments, weird discoveries, interesting audio anecdotes.

Recently, I have been working with About Face Theatre’s youth ensemble on Queertopia. They were each instructed to select a fun pop song that I would then mash into one fun, weird AND interesting piece. The following is the resulting demo.
